"Well, what can you do?" you inquire....
I've been a reporter, copy editor, and features columnist for my university's student newspaper, The Villanovan, and also spent a summer reporting and writing as a intern at a local weekly, The Independent. I've held editorial internships at Martha Stewart Living, Philadelphia magazine, phillymag.com, and Good Housekeeping. I've also been a freelance fact checker at Martha Stewart Living magazine and MSL books, freelanced in the nutrition department at at GH Research Institute, and in June 2010 wrapped up a four-mouth stint as a temp editorial assistant at This Old House magazine.
I also coded and designed this web site (which explains its novice aesthetic but also denounces any idea that I, foolish 23-year-old, paid someone to do this for me).
Interested? I am prepared to work as a reporter, writer, editor, fact-checker, copy editor, web producer, digital/social media marketer, or assistant in a full-time or freelance position. And I'm good. Just ask anybody.
Super interested? Here is my resume(pdf) for more details.
Below are some of my favorite clips, more of which can be found at The Villanovan, The Independent, Philly Mag. More PDFs to come soon.
