For the entirety of my life I have lived on the same street, in the same house, with the same people, in my familiar small suburb in Monmouth County, New Jersey. But I grew up to be many things - a beach brat, a Girl Scout, a field hockey defender, a calculus tutor, a clarinetist, a Habitat for Humanity house builder, an Italian tourist (and pseudo-resident!) and, most recently, an alumna of Villanova University and the Columbia Publishing Course with my sights set on NYC. For me, college was an anxious mixture of finding my way and stumbling over it, but I am pleased to have come out the other side as a critical thinker, a communication aficionado, and - to be so bold - a journalist. Two-and-a-half years breaking campus news, one summer liasing with PR reps and eating eggs from Martha Stewart's farm, and six weeks at CPC working on production specs, publicity packets, and editorial tip sheets into the wee hours of the morning have led me here - on a path to have a place in media and publishing.

And, well, here I am. I suppose you can't have much of a bio when the boldest chapter of your life has yet to begin, can you? I am now pursuing a career (God, that sounds awfully formal) in lifestyle journalism and publishing, with an interest in food, style, shelter, features, and non-fiction. I know there is a magazine editorial assistant's desk out there calling my name, but (thanks to CPC) I also look forward to exploring opportunities in realm of publicity, marketing, and digital media. If there is one thing life has taught me, it is to be bold, and I completely intend to be.

Oh, and I also tap dance.
